Health Savings Plans

Dental Plus, TeleHealth Plus, and Deluxe Plus are discount health memberships, not insurance. The clearest way to choose among them is to begin with the household’s primary need, then verify the current written benefits, providers, price, availability, and enrollment terms.

This guide is a decision map, not a replacement for plan documents. Benefits and availability can change, and actual savings depend on the provider and service.

Choose Dental Plus when dental drives the comparison

Start with Dental Plus when expected dental use is the household’s strongest reason to join and the preferred dentist participates in the exact program. Do not rely on a network total or percentage alone. Request the current fee information for likely services and calculate the annual membership plus treatment cost.

The dental cost-comparison guide explains how to verify offices and estimates. If you are also comparing a policy, read Dental Savings Plan vs. Dental Insurance.

Choose TeleHealth Plus when remote access is the main goal

Start with TeleHealth Plus when the main need is access to remote clinicians for concerns that are appropriate for phone or video care. Confirm how visits are requested, which household members may use the service, whether separate visit fees apply, where clinicians are available, and how prescriptions are handled when medically appropriate.

Telehealth is not a substitute for insurance, emergency services, testing, or necessary in-person care. Read Telehealth Plan vs. Health Insurance before treating access as coverage.

Choose Deluxe Plus only when the added categories have value

Start with Deluxe Plus when the household expects to use the broader set of discount categories and has verified relevant providers. Pay special attention to medical bill support: ask which bills qualify, when the service becomes available, how help is requested, whether fees or thresholds apply, and what outcomes are not guaranteed. Bill advocacy does not itself pay a hospital bill or create insurance coverage.

Use a final four-part check

Complete the Family Medical Savings Plan Worksheet, then review the pre-enrollment due-diligence questions. When you are ready to verify the current offering, use the plan page or contact My Health Savings Plans.
